Services

Crash data retrieval for passenger vehicles and light trucks.

Crash Point downloads airbag control module data with the Bosch CDR tool and delivers the Bosch-generated CDR report — working at the vehicle, or from a module that has been removed and sent to us.

How we work

Two ways to work with us.

The vehicle doesn’t have to come to us, and it doesn’t have to stay where it is either.

At the vehicle

We come to where the vehicle sits — tow yard, body shop, or storage lot — and perform the retrieval there. Travel within 75 miles of Chattanooga is included in the flat rate.

A module sent to us

If the airbag control module has already been removed from the vehicle, it can be sent to our Chattanooga shop and we retrieve the data here.

The core service

What we retrieve, and what you get back.

Most passenger vehicles store event data in the airbag control module — information recorded in the seconds around a crash, which can include vehicle speed, braking, throttle, and restraint status depending on the vehicle.

  • Airbag control module data downloaded with the Bosch CDR tool
  • Passenger vehicles, cars, and light trucks
  • The Bosch-generated CDR report, delivered to you as a PDF

Crash Point provides CDR/EDR data retrieval and reporting only — not full accident reconstruction.
