What we retrieve
Your vehicle kept a record of the crash. We retrieve it.
Most passenger vehicles store event data in the airbag control module — information recorded in the seconds around a crash, which can include vehicle speed, braking, throttle, and restraint status depending on the vehicle. We download that data with the Bosch CDR tool and prepare it into the industry-standard report.
Crash Point provides CDR/EDR data retrieval and reporting only — not full accident reconstruction.

Expedited pricing covers the complete service rather than the retrieval alone, and the surcharge applies to the total. The window starts once we have the vehicle or the airbag control module in hand and runs through delivery of the report. Expedited work is confirmed by Payton Lowe or Nikki Sturdivan before it’s committed — selecting a window on the inquiry form is a request, not a booking. Travel beyond 75 miles is quoted up front, negotiated on the distance involved.

Mobile service means we come to the vehicle. Travel within 75 miles of Chattanooga is included in the flat rate; beyond that, a drive fee is negotiated based on the distance. Modules already removed from the vehicle can also be sent to our Chattanooga shop.
